The Red River in Greenville on Monday, 1/31/11
As mentioned on Thursday, Portland’s The Red River will be in town, playing the Tipsy Teapot at 9 pm. We’re pleased to announce that there will be a pre-show, meet-and-greet at the Armadillo Grill on 114th E. Fifth Street in Greenville from 5 – 6 pm. The band will play few songs, and be available to meet folks, sign CDs, etc. This is a great opportunity to meet the 11 member band, and to see them perform acoustic version of their songs. Please come by and join us at 5 pm.

The Holy Ghost Tent Revival, Jack the Radio, Rebekah Todd, and Richard Benjamin rock the Tipsy!
On Thursday (Jan. 27), the Holy Ghost Tent Revival headlined a show that included openers, Richard Benjamin, Rebekah Todd, and Raleigh’s Jack the Radio. It was a blast! The place was packed, like I’ve never seen it, and the acts were ON and amping the crowd all night. Big thumbs up for Rebekah, Jack the Radio and the Holy Ghost Tent Revival (who lived up to their great reputation). Jack the Radio was a bit of a pleasant surprise–rocking the house for nearly an hour with encores and cheers abounding from the crowd. Rebekah Todd proved that she is one Greenville’s true gems, singing soulfully and powerfully through her 40 minute set. What a great night for Greenville.
